Devoured this within a day. Brought the sequel the very day. Gritty, tense, and sucks you in deep you'll feel like you're within the story yourself

Uninterested in the characters and the plot. Confused why an ME is so involved in the investigation. The killer POV was the most interesting but still forgettable. DNF

I’m so grateful to have found the Morbid podcast! I’ve always been weirdly obsessed with everything spooky & true crime related. (Possibly being born the day before Halloween) so when I found out Alaina published a book it became a must read! I have absolutely no regrets reading this loved every minute of it!!! Can’t wait for more from her!! (Honestly need more after that ending

I read this because I LOVE the author’s podcast. And while I didn’t hate the book, I just think it’s clear that this is not written by an accomplished author. She certainly could be one day, but this read as a first-book-ever-written, kinda thing.
