Yeah, not for me. I'm not even sure what was going on in the story. Everything felt slightly disjointed and abrupt. The ending most of all. What actually happened? Do I lack comprehension, or was it not explained properly? The writing was nice, though nothing special, and the main character could've been compelling if this was a full length work, so points for that.

I was very intrigued at the start of this story but I feel that the author tried to wrap it up to quickly. Overall, this series is giving me the impression that the authors were under a strict time constraint. Or possibly that they were originally given a longer page limit and then had to cut the stories down to size. They're all so close to being amazing and gripping but they fall ever so short.

great story with too abrupt an ending - The story deserved more. Great southern gothic atmosphere that really drew me in. Deserved to be a novella at least.
