The story is about Kelley, who is navigating his anxiety issues, and Thad, whose initial misunderstanding of Kelley adds layers to their budding relationship. They were introduced in Brady's story, "Can't Say Goodbye." What begins as a casual hookup turns into a beautiful friendship filled with passion and chemistry, perfectly capturing the essence of the enemies-to-friends-to-lovers trope.
One of the highlights of the book is getting to see Damon again, but this time, as the charming "Daddy Damon" silver fox! His character adds a wonderful dynamic and warmth to the story. Plus, it was fantastic to revisit Brady's relationship from a fresh perspective, enriching the overall narrative.
Eden Finley’s ability to infuse the story with humor, making even the most serious moments feel lighthearted, is one of the reasons I love every one of her books.
