The ending of The Great Gatsby saved me from hating it. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is about an ex-solider named Jay Gatsby and his love for Daisy, to put it simply. It was boring for the first 150 pages,(that is 3/4 of the book)and the end it started to get better. It is great for any reader of classic romance books. I'm a guy, and I only liked the intersting parts (the guy thing is not proof, because I read the whole Twilight series and loved it). It also helps to read it for classics that you are going to have to read in high school.

This is what I’ve always imagined a classic to read like and say. Phenomenal message about the reality of the American Dream

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald - 4.5 / 5

Rich with some of the most elegant and beautiful prose I’ve ever read, The Great Gatsby is still a marvel to read one hundred years after its release. The novel’s potentially greatest strength lies in Fitzgerald’s aptitude to immerse readers into the minutiae of human behavior, the subtle emotional undercurrents between people and the interminable layers of personal backstory that quietly drive their interactions and views on the world.
