I keep wondering if I will ever get tired of Neil Gaiman and his amazing storytelling ... and nope, not yet. Neverwhere is fantastic.

Onirico, feérico, mágico Gaiman. Si no lo habéis leido, leedlo. Estáis tardando.

Easily one of the most creative, best written stories I have read in a long while. I couldn't put it down. Gaiman delivers a grand adventure the likes of which I never would have imagined, something that he is all too skilled at.

I would have loved this book so much if I hadn't already read Christoph Marzi's "Uralte Metropole".
I know that Marzi was second and probably is copycat, but I liked his stories in the "Underground Londmuch better.

Still "Niemalsland" was a good read I would recommend.

This book is like a dark, disturbing Alice in Wonderland. This is the first book of Neil Gaimon's that I have read, looking forward to reading more of his writings.

I had initially watched the BBC miniseries first, as that was the first and intended form of this story, and so I assumed the best one to start with. I was wrong. The book is really quite a lot better; which shouldn't surprise me as Gaiman is a writer. I really wish I had read this first. Everything in the book is imbued with much more texture and detail than the television version. The story is just a little bit deeper, and the characters are far more interesting. Not to mention, Gaiman's subtle humor really shines through in the novel. It's not turned full-on like in Good Omens or Anansi Boys, but he's still one of the only writers that can make me chuckle just by capitalizing a few words. I really enjoyed the unique world of London Below as well as the characters themselves, and hope that one of these days he gets around to telling further tales of Richard & Door.
