I needed to know what happened at the end — that’s the reason I kept reading this trilogy. My favorite book was the second one.
What can I say? Belly and Jeremiah were annoying. The things Conrad did in book 2 were not my favorite, but here, I think he matured.
Writing-wise, I felt the ending was very abrupt, and Belly never admitted the real reason she wanted to get married. I want to believe the writer left that to us to interpret, but I felt like i don’t really know her anymore.
I don’t hate Belly — I think she’s a teenager who doesn’t know what she’s doing. I kind of like her character, but not completely.
I’d only recommend this book if you’re curious like me.
