Not for the faint of heart

The ending was a bit of a disappointment but I can't say I wasn't expecting it. I guess I should be happy it ended as well as it did.

Fun read with a twist and turn around every corner. I'll definitely be reading #2.

Finally it's over!

Felt v slow. As another reviewer said, 300 enjoyable pages in 700. Just not my thing

Just re-read this book in anticipation of the newest addition to the trilogy and I was just as enthralled. I am a total fan.

Dude. I loved this book. It is an epic novel chronicling the lives of multiple people and families and relationships while delving into the spiritual, the supernatural, and all that other craziness that goes into post-apocalyptic stories of bleak futures. It is scary, and heartbreaking, and sweet, and crammed full of adventure and genuine writing.

I'm now about half way into the second book and I still haven't decided if I want to commit to this trilogy. I suppose I'll know by the end.

This was the longest audio book ever. I will read the next ones.

This book is fabulous!! Many pages, but reads fast. I loved it as much if not more the second time through. Can't wait till fall for the sequel.

This book was fabulous. I cried multiple times which doesn’t usually happen with a book. Long book but worth it.
