How Do You Tuck in a Superhero?: And Other Delightful Mysteries of Raising Boys by Rachel Balducci

I enjoyed this book very much. While I thought it may be more geared toward 'advice' on raising boys, I was pleasantly surprised with many relatable, laughable stories of her own experiences, which will be helpful tor remember during my own boy's shenanigans down the road. Boys are so unique in their mindset, especially different from their mommies and sisters, this is a lighthearted collection of one real life mom's journey and learning along the way.

As my third boy turns three, and now three boys are "playing together" as opposed to "near each other" the chaos has gone up a notch, and I turn to this book again to help me laugh and realize its all just how boys are. I love this book, I just plop down in the rowdiness, flip open to a page at random and relive some tension with a good commiserating belly laugh.

Fun to read and had me laughing out loud. Not much organization or overall flow to the book, but it was a nice light read about motherhood.

Very funny examples that all moms of boys can relate to or look forward too. It was written pretty choppy though. Kinda like she was trying to write a book while raising 5 boys. :) very funny light read. Don't expect too much advice though. Other than getting examples that your boys might not have thought of yet allowing you to create a rule BEFORE the incident!

Awesome...loved every page of it. Ironically I read it the day that Rachel delivered her DAUGHTER. :)

This book was entertaining, but if you're looking for a book about how to parent boys, this is not the book for you. The author is a blogger, and this appears to be a collection of blog posts put together in a book. I did enjoy this as a good, light read, and will probably read it again when I need something funny.

Meh. It's just a bunch of vignettes on Balducci's experiences raising her 5 boys. The thing about vignettes and personal essays is, sometimes you just don't relate to them. Despite having a son, I didn't relate to Balducci's writing at all. Oh well.
