I am sad that this one didn't work as well for me, because I LOVED the first short story collection. I think that format worked a little better for Lupin, because this struggled to keep me hooked into the story, and the framework of the heists was a little harder to follow and less fun, as well.
I am really excited about reading this. I love Sherlock Holmes (really, the "clever" disguise isn't fooling anyone!) and can't wait to see how he stacks up against the world's best gentleman thief. :)

Deux rencontres entre Arsène Lupin et Sherlock Holmes Herlock Sholmès assez divertissantes. C'est l'affrontement entre deux esprits aussi rusés l'un que l'autre, chacun donnant du meilleur de lui-même pour surpasser son opposant. On peut tout de même regretter que le détective anglais et son partenaire tombent dans une caricature un peu trop grossière.
What the author does to Holmes and Watson doesn't bear thinking about. I ought to have given it 3 stars but I'm a sucker for this sort of thing.
