I’m surprised by how sad I am that this is over — trust me, it’s a very good memoir.

Surprisingly touching stories for introverts

Read this book! It's neither a memoir nor a comedy book; it's somewhere in the middle. It's heartbreaking, inspiring, informative, empowering, and, obvs, hilarious. Seriously, start this book immediately.

4.5 stars! I was so-so on her but got the audiobook from the library and I like her so much more now! Really entertaining book, and I think it’s one of those books I wouldn’t have liked as much had I read it vs listened to it.

DID NOT FINISH

DNF. A good reminder that I don't often like memoirs.

I really liked this autobiography, I thought it was really easy to read, with interesting stories and told in an interesting order of events. It's very refreshing to read about celebrities who don't take themselves too seriously and are very honest and open about their lives, personalities and experiences. Any book that makes me chuckle out loud, as well as making me feel teary and emotional at times, is always an enjoyable read.

4.5

it had funny parts

I haven't watched Amy Schumer's show or movie, so I didn't know what to expect. SO much crude stuff, but she was also funny and had some great/heartbreaking/thought-provoking stories about her family, breaking into her career, and experiences with sexual assault and partner violence. If you do want to read it, I thought the audiobook (which she narrates) was a great choice.
