Secret baby and second chance romance. I really enjoyed this book. It took a lot for Dex to get over his hurt. He held onto that grudge. Caitlin was patient and it paid off.

This book was ok. I liked Jordan, and it was sweet that she was so excepting of Dex. I could even understand Dex and Caitlin's breakup. What I don't understand is Caitlin trying ONLY ONE TIME to tell Dex something as important as she had to tell him.

There was so much going on that I felt like I was running a race trying to keep up. Sex and Caitlin's whirlwind marriage and divorce. The loss of her father. (I was never 100% sure if his death was due to illness or due to unscrupulous businessmen trying to force his hand.) At one point in the book, it seemed to infer the possibility. Next, the land deal. Then the Corinthian situation. Then the change in the Corinthian situation. The Crazy stalker person. I felt like the book jumped from on thing to another.

Also, I don't know if it was an editing issue, or I received a bad copy of the book. The story would change from one sentence to the next. At one point, Caitlin was talking to Corinthians and called Clayton for legal advice. The next sentence had Dex asking Caitlin what she had done regarding her land. Forget about a new chapter, you didn't even get a new paragraph. Poor editing makes it difficult to stay in the flow of a book.

These are just things that bothered me. I think the book is worth reading and judging for yourself.

Brenda Jackson always knows how to keep her readers wanting for more. From page one to the last page, her stories make you want to actually fall in love. Caitlin and Dexter fell out of touch and if it wasn't for her father, they would have never reunited. Dex had to let go of his stubborn ways and Caitlin had to believe that Dex truly loved her even though she was young.
