The prose in this book felt like cacophony poetry in a sink in your bones way.
I loved the writing and the mystery. When Cadence uses fairytales as allegories for her family, I immediately fell in love with the writing.
However, I didn’t like the payoff and really wanted to see a bit more of Cadence’s life pre summer 17 to really feel the difference.

It was honestly just so sad, but I am glad I read the book.
