I don’t usually read nonfiction as it can be very taxing on the mind to comprehend every word and understand fully what the author is presenting. This book does a fairly good job at keeping a balance between the hard facts and history and more conversational tone. In some ways that helps the digestion of a very heavy but relevant topic. I’m glad I pushed through and learned a lot more in depth details about the Palestinian struggles. I do think the issues are complex and the author did his best to present things from both sides, however there did seem to be some heavy bias as well throughout the presented arguments (which is needed in my opinion as the Palestinian voices have been overlooked for so much of history) but still something to keep in mind throughout the book.

A really insightful book with lots of information about Palestine. Truly heartbreaking to hear about things that were “theories” or “plans” at the time which are now a reality in Gaza.

While a really important book I feel the format and the writing could have been improved. There was little in the way of explanation and context. Having read other reviews I think this is an outlier in this authors books. FREE PALESTINE
