I really wanted to like this but I just thought the execution was strange and the characters weren’t great either, I saw where it was going pretty quickly so no major spoilers.
As a side note, I’ve read 5 books from this author and only enjoyed one. I’m not sure why I just haven’t loved them as much as others seem too but I did try.

This is my first book by JP Delaney but it won't be my last.
The story starts with Finn and Jess discussing how to deal with the legalities of their father's death and their now ownership of the finca in Mallorca. Finn ends up travelling to Mallorca and winds up staying for reasons to be discovered.
I adored the characters in this, constantly guessing where the story was going and I didn't see the ending twists coming. Great read for summer. I imagine this will be around the pool on lots of holidays.
