The magic is back, but with a higher level of maturity. Prisoner of Azkaban is where Rowling showed readers how the series would age with them, and it’s absolutely glorious.

Reread August 2020
I’m going to start my review the same way as my chamber of secrets review. I don’t and will never support jk Rowling again. But the series does hold a place in my heart and life that I can’t forget or just remove. I started this year with a reread through audiobook of this series and I’m going to keep with it and just always preface that Rowling is a garbage can. She’s horrible. But the series doesn’t belong to her anymore.
Rereading book 3 just hit me in the feels. I love this book. It’s probably my second favorite. But maybe first. I guess we’ll see when I read the rest of the series again. Sirius and Lupin and the Marauders Map, and Buckbeak just are some of my favorite things. I love this book in this series.
It’s weird to reread and forget how much gets flipped around with the movies. Like we get Cedric and Cho in this book where we don’t meet them until the fourth movie. We get more Quidditch in the books than the movies always, and other things of course are definitely different. It’s interesting to see the changes even though I love the movies too. But the books are such a huge part of my life.
Also the audiobooks are fantastic and I love them soo much. I’m so glad that I am listening to them this time around!

Yep this is probably my favorite. Well if anything it's in my top favorites. And I think that has a lot to due with my love for Sirius Black. He's an absolute favorite of mine. So is Lupin and Buckbeak. I love the Marauders Map and the time turner. It has been some many years since I've read them even though I watch the movies a lot. And that was a lot to due with that I used to only own book 1, and 4-7. So I didn't own my own copy of 2 and 3. But then I bought a copy of them and then I finally bought myself the beautiful box set with Hogwarts on the spine. I will be watching the movie and then continuing on with my reread for book 4 and on.

Perfeito!
