Really neat paranormal fiction blended with a documentary style, reminds me of the black tapes and limetown.

The first half had me bored. Once it picked up it was pretty interesting, but I kinda just wanted to finish the book. Not my favorite read

I'm a proud, skeptical atheist, and while this book didn't shake my foundations, it certainly gave them a little nudge. It's just enough to have me looking over my shoulder at night before bed and closing my eyes a little tighter to make sure I don't imagine seeing something in the shadows. Because I know ghosts and demons don't really exist, but.... what if...? I get the shivers just thinking about it.

I gave it two stars because I got to the end so I must have seen something in it. I picked it up because Chris Brookmyre was quoted on the cover but it was definitely not in the same league as his books. The main twist was glaringly obvious from the time the premise was introduced and for me the rest of the book was just waiting to see if I was right.
