Completely my fault for not realizing this was a novella but I found the ending really abrupt and would have read 100 more pages easily. There were quite a few typos in my ebook but nothing that pulled me too harshly from the read (I would like to know if this was NYE 2021 going into 2022 or NYE 2020 going into 2021 because that was unclear) but overall this was a sweet story and I liked both of the characters very much

I love all Portia MacIntosh’s books but this one was slightly disappointing. It was super short and felt like she could’ve done more with the ending.

A short, quick read
This was a sweet story, however one that won't be staying in my mind very long - it was nothing I'll nothing special, there wasn't time for any character development and everything happened too fast to have any actual impact! This is pretty much what's to be expected from a book that's only 64 pages long!
I don't think I'd recommend this to a friend, unless you have an hour to kill and want something quick and inoffensive to read.

Queen of Romance Portia has done it again!! I have loved this book, I just wish it was longer. I have adored it from start to finish.
This book has had me laughing from the very beginning. I loved the drunken rambling- it was a great start to the book.
I definitely need more of Chris and Hayley, they are gorgeous main characters. Both likeable and realistic.
I have read all of Portia’s books and I can safely say that I love them all. I couldn’t possibly choose a favourite because they are all completely fabulous. Portia is an extremely talented author who is always my go to for a read that will leave me smiling.
This book was exactly what I’ve needed today. It has eased my anxiety and left me with a great big smile. Now I eagerly anticipate the next release from the queen of romance!

This is a very short but sweet read. This was a reread for me as I loved it it the first time around and led me to read more Portia MacIntosh, who is now a favourite author.
Hayley is snowed in, over New Year, with a man she has only just met and is not who she originally thought.
