This was a lot.

Yves is one of my favorite characters simply for the fact that she never ceases to make me wanna grab her by the shoulders and shake her.
Eli... man... he is so irky and irresistible at the same time.
This was a good sequel that got me wanting to read Book 3.

I could've did away with Eli calling Julian '[Yves'] little sweet boy'. I'm never going to be comfortable with a white man referring to a Black man that way. Other than that, I enjoyed this one more than the first book.
