I'd give this one 3.5/5 stars, but round it down. It was an interesting concept and I like the way the story wove together at the end, but it was pretty slow to start and there were some plot inconsistencies throughout. Still worth checking out, I think, because the climax of the story was intense and well-done.
An absolute emotional roller coaster. It was an incredible and truly heartbreaking. I wanted to clues to be found, and the all the puzzles to fit together immediately but the story had to play out and it did come together perfectly. The story is told from the point-of-view of three ghosts but they aren’t spooky they are seeking justice and are protectors.
I really enjoyed this thriller! We chose this book for a book club.
The beginning was very rough so please read trigger warnings! But as a thriller and horror lover it had my palms sweating and felt in the moment!
This story follows the point of view of 3 women who had met a handsome man and suffered violently for it. Their fierce determination saved countless others from following in their footsteps but can they save the ones closest to him? Can they take him down?

This was my first book by this author and I look forward to reading her other work.
yeah the book was okay. i didn’t like how they were treating skye’s case ( she is the only non-white character so of course racism) & the timeline of the book was just written poorly. it took half of the book for them to finally catch up with the present ( i think brecia was the only character who’s POV was always from the current time )
anyways, i think this would be better as a movie than a book.

Thank you @simon.audio @simonmaverickaudio and @noelleihliauthor for my #gifted copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
Okay - this one hooked me hard! My friend had been encouraging me to read it for months and she was right - I devoured it in a single day. This is not your typical crime novel. The story is told from the POVs of three women who’ve already been murdered by the same man. Their ghosts narrate the story as they piece together what happened to them and try to stop him from killing again. This was such a quick read, but it was gripping.
What really got me was the perspective—watching everything unfold from the ghosts point of view was captivating. It felt like I was floating above the scenes with them, helpless but desperate to intervene. By the end, I was on the edge of my seat for these characters. It was an incredibly unique view and made me see a crime story from such a different perspective. This book also showed how dangerous dating can be and how you never really know what someone is capable of.
Ask for Andrea was super engaging and I’m still thinking about it almost a month later! I highly recommend it!
