The action in this gets much more exciting than in the last book! I think the first book was mainly setting the scene, developing the characters, drawing us into their world and getting us to care about them. So it makes sense that there is more action in this one.
I really thought that Zach was a spy who had come to the Gallagher Academy with his fellow classmates to sabotage the school. The write did a good job of keeping me guessing about who the potential mole/traitor was, and what they were after. I also suspected Mr. Solomon, whom, I hate to say it, still does not sound like a hottie.
Cammie doesn’t end up with the boy (again) but I hope she find someone in the end, because the protagonists of most action movies rarely have partners or, if they do, they are in the dark about the spy’s real jobs. Seems kind of sad from a relationship and emotional health standpoint.

I do know some people who hate the first book in this series (don't blame me, I'm just delivering facts!) and I've told them that I think the second book is so much better. I'm not lying, anyone who thinks that the first book was too "cliched" (as my friend said (I don't think it is - however that's just my opinion)) you should definitely give it a go. You never know, you might just be surprised and like it! XD
All Gallagher Girls books are a nostalgic 5 stars
This was a cute follow up to the first book, I'd Tell You I Love You, But then I'd Have to Kill You. It is about Cammie Morgan, a sophmore at an all girls spy school, has come back to school after winter break, taken a lie detector test, and found that there is a secret with the name black thorn or is it blackthorne. Trouble seems to find Cammie and her friends and they decide to find out exactly what is going on using everything their school has taught them. I really like Cammie and her friends. I think they are cute. I like when they have situations dealing with boys there is only one of the girls with any experience and they have great debates to analyze everything. This book had more action than the first one and I cannot wait until there is another.
Three things are true: 1. Zach remains the boy of my dreams. 2. I didn't realize how much time Cammie spends not talking in a scene where people are waiting for her to speak, lol? and 3. I am having the time of my life.
