I was never really into Shakespeare plays because they were hard to understand. But I got to read this book in English senior year and had a lovely teacher who explained it to me. After he explained the plot and what was going on, I realized that Hamlet is an amazing play. 
One of the most relatable character in this play is Ophelia. I never understood her significance but when I read this play and my teacher explained how her fate was sealed and why she is so important, I just couldn't help but find a new found love for this book.

Read in my AP lit class. I'm edgy, and this play was lowkey too edgy for me, but the play was well written! I hated how fast the ending was though.
