An entertaining read that reminded me slightly of Murakami's 'Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World' (and Dahl's 'Tales of the Unexpected', of course). It's a shame that John Humphrys' name was misspelt.

A wonderful short story... two seemingly unrelated stories, and a surprise ending--all within 50 pages. I really enjoyed this one.

Neat little story. Fairly easy to see where it was going, which was in itself enjoyable, leaving one to appreciate its style and simplicity.
