I'm Not Cute!

Jonathan Allen

This book reminds me of a stubborn, whiny kid that is always in denial of their identity or actions. The animal pictures don't depict what they really are, however, they incorporate character, creativity and humor.

This adorably illustrated but not cutesy owl insists he's a fierce predator, not cute. Good for 2 & 3 year olds, and for toddler storytimes.

This adorable and hilarious children's picture book is about an extremely cute owl chick who desperately wants to be taken seriously: "I am NOT cute! I am a huge and scary hunting machine with great big soft and silent wings!" This was a big hit with my storytime kids.

Little owl is too little for my taste.

Baby Owl does NOT want to be cute like all the forest animals think he is. Instead, he wants to be a fierce, sly hunting machine. So much fun! A good group read aloud.

OMG THE CUTEST I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE OR MY NEPHEW'S

Spoken like a true child...perfect!

Baby Owl is having an identity crisis. Everyone thinks he's cute, but he is also a deadly nightly hunting machine. How can he sort out those conflicting pieces of himself?

Yup this is not cute this is ADORABLE!! Would make a great book for a read aloud

Cute story, but the main character doesn't do anything to resolve the problem himself besides whining. Just an okay book overall.
