I. FUCKING. LOVED. THIS.

As someone who has lived with/currently has to deal with C-PTSD and severe complex OCD, this book was written exquisitely. I think this should be mandatory reading for anyone who is trying to support someone in this situation; and mandatory reading for people in these kinds of situations so that you can realise you’re not alone.

This book helped me realise that someone had written my thoughts, emotions, and experiences onto paper, and helped with my understanding of myself and how I now handle anxiety. This is fan-fucking-tastic writing

At all of the books I’ve read this is the second book that made me cry. This book was so informative and definitely educated me on OCD and it’s so important to know more about diseases/illnesses. The romance was so cute and loved that the author took a real story. The “dedication” page abt her family member was so sweet and I’m so glad she found her own Aj. I can go on and on about this book and will probably edit this when I have the exact words I want to say. This book was reflective and made me think and have my own thoughts abt life in general. I never read a book like this before.

This book caught me by surprise. I originally picked it up thinking it was a romance. While th romance in the book was one of my favorite parts, this story is so much more than that. I did opening cry reading this. I love this books so much! I have no words to express how meaningful and emotional this book was for me. Definitely one of my new favorites!

A story covering pure-o OCD, one that is deeply emotional, impactful and hopeful.

The idea of there being a sanctuary in a deeply stressful environment for people of all qualities and characters to share their art, troubles, worries and ugliness with, is just so wholesome.

Our main character is flawed but still loveable, in the fact that she recognises her flaws and is actively (maybe not always) trying to get better. The notions of kicking out old friends who you recognise are toxic and bad for your mental health is a universal experience. The back and forth between our protagonist and her boyfriend (I forgot his name) is also extremely wholesome.

Quite a lovely read.
