*3.25 stars... maybe 3.5?*
Interesting novella. It was cool to see what was happening to Raven, and it made me understand a bit more about the Countess of Stone, who is one evil lady. This was a lot darker than I expected! I can't say I loved it; It's hard to fall in love with such a short novella, but it definitely made me like Raven more. I think I even prefer her slightly to Violet... I'm really excited to pick up The White Rose soon, to see what happens next in this series.

4/5 - Really enjoyed how long this was and I was extremely pleased that she decided to show Raven's side of the story as well. Seeing her drastic change of mental stability left room for a ton of questions and this little novella managed to answer most of them! However, this was extremely horrific and it was a tad difficult to read at times because I'm not a big fan of that, but still really good.

This novella would have gotten a higher review if it had not ended so abruptly.
It was interesting to see a darker side of this world and it made me wish The Jewel was from Raven's perspective. She's a much more interesting and compelling character.

It doesn't really feel like a different character. I expected more fire-y temper & thoughts from Raven but I got very Violet-alike character.

Lo que le hacen a Raven hace que todo lo que sufre Violet parezca broma. Raven es de mis personajes favoritos y fue interesante saber que pasaba con ella.

This was such an awesome book. Even better than Garnet's Story, as it gives us an insight into how Raven's treated in the House of the Stone. It was such a horrible book! Really rather gory and horrifying. I was kind of disappointed that it finished when
she left Violet after Dahlia's death, and that we didn't get to see up to her miscarriage,
but I'm definitely super excited for the second book :D I love how defiant Raven is, and how she definitely sticks to who she is and tries not to let them change her.

This was a good addition to the series. It features one of the side characters and it tells what was happening to her throughout the first book. It really shines a light on how her character becomes the way she is in the second book.

I knew it was 60 pages but I thought it'd cover more. And if you thought you hated the Countess of Stone before, ha. Wait til you read this.
