Wow this book was a bore and took a hell of a long time to get through.
I found it felt like a chore to read, way longer than it needs to be, characters come and go, words are written in old English, and the use of footnotes I found utterly frustrating and irrelevant. To be completely honest even after finishing this book I’m utterly clueless as to what’s gone on. I did however enjoy the ending. Glad this one’s done with lol.

It's written as if it's telling a summary of the story, not the actual story... I feel like the author needed a more ruthless editor. Too slow-paced for me.
