I thought I already knew the main points of this book, and I was in no hurry to read it. I didn't think I would get much more out of it. I was pleasantly surprised. I especially enjoyed reading about the operation of Polyface Farms, including the biology of grass, and Pollan's response to Singer and other vegetarian thinkers.

A crucial read for people of the 21st century. It's important to recognize where food, perhaps our most important "tool" so to speak, comes from. Ideally, we will push for change before the food industry causes additional problems.
