It was interesting to see the lives of the Nightwings and why they were so involved with the war. The war’s outcome is essential to them and their way of life, yet they have no care for the wellbeing of other dragons. The secrets the Nightwings hold were interesting and explained a lot about why there was a war in the first place.
I wish there had been more time focused on Mastermind as he was a really interesting character. Unfortunately, I didn’t find Starflight to have had as interesting as a voice as the other dragonets. I enjoyed getting to know the alternate dragonets. While she was annoying at times, I like Fatespeaker and her determination through this book.

Another one the kids and I read together. It was interesting to have this book focus on one of the lesser known characters. We're excited to see where the series goes.
