Second book in the TSITP series definitely feels more like a set-up for the third novel. We learn about Belly’s past with Conrad but also see the development of her feelings for Jeremiah.

I liked how Jeremiah’s perspective was included in a few chapters. The same scenes but from his eyes were interesting to see how he had been pinning after Belly all this time. Since I’ve watched the show I immediately see all the characters from the show in my mind while reading this.

I think I definitely liked the first book better. If I could do half stars on gr I would rate it 2.5
