A brooding story with all the fun bleached out. A real summer bummer.

Made me want to pretend my house is a beach house.

I hate Belly and how she treats Taylor. Don't get me wrong, I hate Taylor, too. She really is bossy, but her care towards Belly seems genuine. Belly loves to use the word "best friend" pertaining to Taylor, yet she doesn't act like one and continues to hate on Taylor. Taylor was right; Belly's selfish, and her indecisiveness really annoys me. Why be best friends if you hate each other? Their friendship doesn't make sense. I noticed it in the first book, but this sequel highlighted it more. I hate all characters except Laurel.
