It’s a sweet simple, not too serious book about found family. It’s nice to see a romance among character older than 30.
The writing was ok. Dialogue was sometimes difficult to swallow. It’s got the air of boomer writing children. It’s too much cliche tiktok gen z talk. Still, the kids are so cute.

The ending is so warm and fuzzy. I cried so many happy tears. If you love kids, you'll love this book. If you hate your job, you'll love this book. It's adorable and light hearted while also reminding you of the very serious lesson of recognizing what is actually important in life

Most of the main characters experienced abuse and related trauma in their early childhood. At the time the story takes place, this is in the past. They are still faced with rejection from society for who they are thou.

Sometimes a book comes along just when you need it, this book did that. It has the loveliest cast of characters; the sweetest, kindest, funniest, weirdest little family at its core. It’s brimming with humor and joy but there is also sadness and darkness. It speaks so much truth to our society. The writing and narrating are top notch too!!
