One of the only books where I have physically cringed and had to put it down when we got to the gory bits. It is truly scary, the atmosphere completely chilling, yet the message oddly sweet.

I will say this book is erroneously labeled as a vampire novel, and while it is supernatural - it is not a vampire.

Wat een goed boek. Dit boek bevat veel gruwelijke elementen, waardoor het denk ik niet geschikt is voor mensen met een zwakke maag. Het boek is goed geschreven en je krijgt een compleet beeld van alle activiteiten die er spelen. Ook vond ik de tweeling band erg mooi beschreven. Ik ben zelf ook een tweeling en ik kan me heel goed vinden in de band die de zussen hebben. Ik zou ook alles doen voor mijn zus.

Het boek leest vlot weg. Er staan een aantal moeilijke termen in, maar gelukkig hebben we daar google voor! al met al een gruwelijke thriller en echt  een aanrader als je houdt van gedetailleerde gruwelijke thrillers.

Y'all this book was wild. 

Heed the trigger warnings. 

I'm not sure there are any good people in this book. I mean, I think I understand why Lucy and Sarah did what they did and it really could only end up with the deaths of Michael and Arthur. They did deserve it after all.
