I couldn't put it down-- the secrets ranged from bizarre and quirky to very disturbing. I enjoyed the laughs, but the overwhelming feeling the postcards conveyed, after closing the book was lonliness. I wonder what the therapeutic value was for the artists/bearers of secrets? Are any of my secrets holding me in bondage.I related to the person who saved all of their staples. I used to collect the little ends of yarn when I was crocheting-- just in case...
Touching, funny, sad and sometimes creepy, this is truly an interesting book, conceived and put together by a guy who lives about 45 minutes away from me. Really makes you think about how different -- and yet how alike -- we all are.
This book is interesting because it's made up of "secrets" written on handmade postcards sent anonymously to the editor (who also runs the website of the same name). I think it is facinating to look at the secrets and their detail -- or lack of detail -- and to try to understand what was going on in the life of the person who created it. Not much actual reading, but it inspires self-reflection. What secret would I like to get off my chest?
This was really interesting! I found it by chance and it was fascinating!!! It only takes a short time to read (although you may want to spend more time looking at the art work) and it will get you thinking about the nature of secrets, the power that the past holds over people, and the ways that people deal with life. Really, you should go check it out! We have it at the library!

Very interesting. I was amazed at just how crafty some people can be (both in the artistic sense and the sneaky sense.)
I enjoy reading someone else's secret. Again, some will stay with me longer than others.
