My wife bought this book while she was pregnant. My son is almost two and has ignored the book until about a week ago. Now we read it eight times a day at minimum.
Basically, it's a baby chipmunk finger puppet with about ten pages of story around it. Using your finger, you make baby chipmunk scurry up a tree, eats some seeds, and nuzzle your chipmunk mama.
The artwork is meets children's book standards. It really isn't a story, just ten or so lines for you to say while animating the baby chipmunk with your finger. My son is delighted by it so I'll give it a four. Hopefully he moves on to another book to obsess over soon.
