Didn’t vibe with the writing style, so maybe that’s it but I had to force myself to finish reading this.
Had potential, age gap, ex’s dad romance. Just wasn’t for me

I actually have nothing bad to say about this book. It wasn’t bad but not phenomenal either. I will say for a forbidden romance and age gap, I enjoyed it a lot. I appreciated the fact that Fisher was putting his kid first no matter what. It was a cozy read for me. Enjoyed myself!
The spice though…yum.

This was cute. Fischer has a sad story and it made me tear

Wonderful!!!!!! That’s how I felt at the end of Noah and Fisher’s story. Wonderful!
It was great to be back in Sugarland Creek after reading Ayden and Laney’s story and I loved being in the company of the Hollis family again. They a great bunch to hang around with.
Noah and Fisher were made for each other and who can deny true love and happiness? It certainly was a challenge for these two characters, trying so hard to stay away. Love always wins.
Their story is filled with heart. There were moments I ached along with them and moments I cheered for them loudly. And moments I wanted to just give a few secondary characters a piece of my mind.
The author kept my attention throughout. I loved that some chapters kept you on the edge of your seat with a bit of suspense, even though the chapters flow after each other, you were still wondering, who, why, what!
I am invested in this series now and looking forward to the next book. I loved how the main characters of the next book made such huge appearances in this one, so we kind of have an idea of what to expect and I don’t think I have the patience waiting for it.
Noah and Fisher got 4,5 ❤️
