The love for Taylor Swift in this was 10/10

Such a sweet story! I love the relationship between Noah and Fisher even though it started out a bit less fairytale than most…

Book Title: Here With Me Author: Brooke Montgomery
Series: Sugarland Creek #1
Star Rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Steam Rating:🔥🔥🔥

I throughly enjoyed this one! Once I started I didn’t want to put it down!

Noah and Fisher first meet at a rodeo, they have this instant chemistry and end up getting together later that night. It was the first time for either of them to be with someone so much older/younger but when Noah finds out who Fisher is, that he’s her ex’s dad! She ghosts him. What she doesn’t know is that he’s about to start working at her family’s ranch!

My god this was so good! Their chemistry was just so good! And that first scene where they meet again was so funny 🤣 The short time they’ve been apart has dulled their feelings at all but now that they know who each other is they try to just be friends. But being around each other everyday has them pushing those limits. When they finally decide to be together, in secret, it’s all going well until Fisher finds out his son still has feelings for Noah and he’s trying to mend his relationship with him after years of hurt. My heart hurt for them, never have 2 people been more perfect for each other but they weren’t willing to risk hurting Fishers son.

While there wasn’t a whole lot of spice, what we did get was 🥵🥵 but I actually liked that we got to see more of them building their relationship instead of it being just spice.

While all that’s happening there’s been a threat against Noah that not only put her in danger but the ranch too. I didn’t know there was a suspense plot in this book but I love it!

I also loved that we got to see a fair bit of Nash’s family and friends, loved reading all the scenes with them together. Her brothers are crazy and their books are gonna be so good!

I won’t say much else but just know the ending was perfect and this review does not give this book the justice it deserves. I cannot wait for the next book!

Again, I read this in a southern accent - lol. I love the Hollis' so much! I did not expect to love this as much as I did. There is something about Brooke's writing, I just can not put it down. I didn't know how I would feel about the age gap and ex's father but I loved it, every second. Their connection, the way they cared so deeply for each other, how Fisher took it upon himself to care for Noah because he felt responsible. 5 star read and I can not wait for the next one!

This was a small town, forbidden love romance and it was juicy, steamy, and swoony af! The story is told in dual pov with dual narration. It follows the FMC, Noah and the MMC, Fisher. They have a 22 year age gap ( he is 44 and she is 22) and normally large age gaps give me the ick. However, talented writers like Ms. Brooke make a liar out of me. This book had me in the feels! Noah and Fisher have such delicious chemistry and build up. Plus the sneaking around made it even hotter! This was also really steamy from the get go. They have a fun start with an unforgettable one night stand and it got even better as the story progressed despite several failed attempts to end their relationship.

I really enjoyed the main and secondary characters. Noah was hard working and talented member of the family business. She is also a swifty and she may or may not have named one of her animals after Taylor Swift. Fisher was flawed, passionate, and addicting. The things this man said to Noah were blush worthy! Fisher had alot of layers to him and had a heck of a back story. I enjoyed when he finally opened up to Noah. Fisher was also remorseful and seeking to repair his rocky relationship with his son. His son also happened to be a big douche and I wanted to knee him in the groin on a number of occasions throughout the book. Fortunately, Noah’s crazy brothers and father play NOOOOOO games when it comes to protecting her and handled him! I wasn’t sad about that . He had it coming. They were great secondary characters.

I listened to the audiobook. It was narrated by Tor Thom and Maxine Mitchell. The narration was wonderful and made the story even better. They brought the emotions, angst, and allure to life. The audio production quality was also well done . The narration was well paced and flowed smoothly. There were no distracting background sounds.

I’m not usually an age gap lover but this one sure sucked me in! I love the characters in this series and the family dynamics to it! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series to see how it all end!
