This was great and unexpected!

This was quite an emotional story and Fisher’s pain was very raw and real. I was rooting for him to be happy after the first chapter. Finding his happiness with Noah was the perfect ending for him.
I’ve got to admit, I was almost convinced Jase was the body they found, so consider me tricked.

This is the second time I’ve read an ex-boyfriends dad book and I initially thought what a weird concept but as it turns out, I love it.

✨ ALC review ✨

The performance of the narrators was beautiful for this book, I wasn’t prepared for the accent but dam nit was incredible. It was the first time I heard Tor Thom but with his deep voice, it was amazing for all and mostly for the steamy part. Maxine Mitchell that I’ve already known was also great. I literally devored this audio in such a short time. I was addicted I soon as I started it.
Small town is the must for me, add to that a big family vibes, and most of all an amazing Best Friend (Magnolia) & Grandma and you got my heart all in it.

Noah is my favorite, she’s so confident, flirty, strong, sassy, and even having four brothers, she doesn’t let them get into her way and I freaking loved that. I definitely want to be like her.
What can I say about Fisher, well it’s hard to find the words. I can’t describe how much I wanted to be in Noah’s place… I have to confess one thing, listening to this book while working, mostly when it’s the shower scene, well it was challenging not to have my cheeks flushed.

What I like the most was the connection Noah and Fisher shared, they were like magnets, it was gorgeous. I also must to mention Magnolia, well she’s really something else. How many times I laugh with her antics.

Anyway, I loved this book so much so I recommend it without any doubt. Go ahead it’s really worth it.

Now I want to know about Magnolia now, January is too far away for my liking but I’ll have to wait patiently.

Could you date your ex’s dad?

Noah just so happens to find herself asking this exact question, after a one night stand leaves her shook.

This book is a small town romance with we a sexy daddy and a secret forbidden romance , and a biggg age gap.

I really enjoyed this book and seeing the characters develop and grow from the last book. Noah keeps fisher on his toes and I love it, the banter and jokes throughout this book generally had me laughing out loud, and my heart broke and heart at other times as well. It really did take me on an emotional roller coaster .

This book was close to being a 5 star for me but the extra story line with Craig and Ian kinda made it a 4 star, I didn’t think the story line was needed and we could of got the same result without them

But overall it was an enjoyable read, and I’ve never felt more betrayed when I discovered stay with me, isn’t actually out yet, I will be waiting for the release to read it straight away.

This is easily a 4 star and I can’t wait for Tripp and magnolias story next

Some points were so cheesy and cringy, but it was a cute read.

This was one of my very first reads from Brooke Montgomery and it certainly won’t be my last! It was so well thought out and the storyline really had me so invested in Noah and Fisher’s story.

I really do love me a good age gap books considering it really is one of my favorite tropes. Not only that a small town romance really does do it for me I love that we get so up close and personal with families and how they are together when you read a small town romance just take this one for example. It was really nice to see the Hollis family on a deeper level once you read the prequel.

The angst and tension really kept me on the edge of my seat especially when learning Fishers story. I loved the family aspect of the story the Hollis family really is heartwarming. I love a good swoon worthy book where the characters fit perfectly together so I would highly recommend adding this to your tbr!!

This was an easy read. I liked the chemistry between the main characters. I liked how sassy Noah was and I liked how sincere and sweet Fischer was. I thought the story with losing his daughter and his losing touch with his son was well done and a good storyline. The rest I didn’t really care for. The drama was way over the top and I didn’t feel the depth of their relationship. Something about the story felt shallow, even with the tragic elements.
