I felt like this book was all over the place and did not flow well. I did not get some of the characters motivations at all. I felt like they needed more back story. It was very much instalove, which I am just not a huge fan of.

I found the character development to be well done and clearly thought through. The tension and banter between the two main characters was palpable. I didn’t love the way the dialogue was written (I would have preferred it to be regular English not written with like a southern accent in mind) but it’s not a huge deal. I would continue with this series as I enjoyed the both the main and side characters along with their relationships and banter.

It’s alright. A pallet cleanser in between better books. The conflict wasn’t very flushed out, and the characters were very surface level. Could’ve been shorter tbh.
Honestly, sometimes you just need to read a book about a girl on a ranch that falls in love with her ex boyfriend’s bull riding Dad. This ticked every box I have when I’m in the mood for that. I had a bloody great time and I’ll never be able to think about eight seconds in the same way again because JESUS.

Read this one thinking it would be like most shitty booktok suggestions, but it genuinely surprised me.
They described the main character as strong and stubborn, and they lived up to it. She wasn't a doormat like most of the girls in these kinds of books usually are.
The male love interest was respectful while also having those romance lead aspects to him (aka jealousy, over protective, etc. etc.)
There wasn't any major miscommunication for the main couple and they seemingly have a very healthy (ish?) relationship. It was such a breath of fresh air to have them talk things out and be understanding of each other. I'm excited to read more of this series.
