I read this as part of a book exchange, and WOW was I mind blown. I heard of the television series before realizing it was a book, and when I received it as my book to read I was excited.
I think my favorite part of this book was the fact that we got to have so many different perspectives, and all of them were so different from each other. Each of the moms had their own positive and negative traits, and the twist was CRAZY. I did NOT expect the reveal to be what it was, and when it got revealed I literally had to take a break.

Overall, I gave this 4/5 stars only because it was very much a *white* story which I could not relate to in any way. But I still found it entertaining, almost like I was watching a reality television show.

I went into this expecting something light and scathingly witty, and it was. But it ran so deep and dark and true and did not make light of a serious situation. Of many serious situations. The narrator was brilliant as well and I'm quite glad I held off watching the HBO show.

Oh boy…
Things are not always what they may appear to be. Wonderfully interesting twists and turns.

I loved this book! Deliciously addictive. Funny, yet dealing with very serious issues that women (and men) face. The three main characters were wonderfully drawn and immensely relatable. This is my first Liane Moriarty book but it won't be my last.
