A decent overall end to the series but a bit lacking in the initial spirit of the earlier novels. With some of our favorite characters missing it felt incomplete and overall a bit odd I guess...? I would recommend this series but did find that it tapered off a bit with the 2nd and 3rd novels and more with the 4th and last. Still good though and worth a read!

As with the whole series, the focus seems more on world-building with the plot being a vehicle to explore the universe. Enjoyable, and I really appreciated seeing another side of Terry and being introduced to Stephen Baxter.

A quick read, and a reasonably rewarding end to the Long Earth series.

Final chapter wasn't as good as the first 4 but still enjoyable to end the story
