Delightful. The photos are all just so goddamned charming.

Also, Tasha's story about using the same china that her grandmother used to serve Emerson and the Adamses and Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. was a "worlds collide" moment for me.

Beautiful. Short & sweet. I can relate with this lady.

I know many people like to see her little world physically but it was really nice to also read her thoughts...

She gives us a walkthrough of the seasons and really does take us into her private world. A lovely book.

Tasha's world in her own words, beautifully photographed. I probably read this every year at this time. So inspiring.

Such a beautiful book!! Wonderful pictures! I wish it were longer! I was glued to this book, I just thought I would read a few pages before going to sleep, and I ended up reading the whole thing in an hour and a half. And I wish I knew about her when I was growing up, but I am glad I know about her now. I too have felt just like her, having a love for old fashioned things and feeling as if I might belong in the 1800s. This woman is inspiring and it makes me hope that someday I can be living like her too, something which I've always dreamed about when I was younger.

Definitely the best of the Tudor bios, with some of the most engaging photographs.

I have actually never heard of Tasha Tudor before, but after reading several blogs whose authors loved her work I decided to check her out. This book is pretty old, but it was worth a read. I am interested now in learning more about Ms. Tudor and checking out some of her books (specifically, Corgiville books because Corgis are the bomb.)

My only complaint is that it isn't longer.
