Estoy sorprendida de haber leído este libro por voluntad propia. Más sorprendida aún de haberlo disfrutado tanto como lo hice. Un clásico hecho y derecho que merece su título. El final, por cierto, es muy bueno también. Me resulta extraño que conociéndolo, esta obra se haya convertido en un romance, cuando ni por roce se acerca. Es el tropo del amor prohibido: since 1597.

Wow, they really do go on with themselves in this!! Kind of funny, even if they are talking to someone who is about to give them important news, they go on and on and on, not letting the other person get a word in edgeways !! I couldn't work out if that's just the style or it's supposed to teach us a lesson. 

It feels obvious when reading it that it was never supposed to be a love story, but a story about the stupidity of family feuds and the death and destruction they cause.

Shakespeare really is just as immature as a teenage boy in this. it gets really old really fast and if I didn't get graded for reading this I would've dnf'ed!!
