Wow! This book tugs at the heartstrings and keeps one trying to figure out the events that led to the night Olivia fell. This book will stay with me for sometime.

This book will definitely end up on your list of favorite suspenseful thrillers. The story starts right off dragging you into a who done it mystery that leaves you unable to put it down. And the heart wrenching moment that the author ends this with will have your emotions on overload.

This was sort of disappointing for me, since I had some expectations riding on it.

The main characters were so out-of-a-catalogue, the perfect girl who hates perfection, the poster boy boyfriend, the bad friend, the scumbag ex. I love certain types of character molds, but none of the ones here were likable for me, I liked the Abi-Anthony storyline but it didn't get much space.

The mystery itself wasn't flashy, I guess you could say the book was about feelings rather than thrill. But I came looking for another 2019 good thriller since I had a good streak with them. This book was in the top 5 of some 2019 thriller list and I've read the other 4 and liked 2 of them so very much and didn't hate the other 2 mostly, I even enjoyed them a little.

The audio had a good narrator and another narrator who wasn't necessarily bad but wasn't great. Laurel Lefkow -who narrated for Abi- had such a great voice and I'll look her up to see what else is there by her. Kelly Burke -who narrated for Olivia- did a good job with the character but not with male voices or certain lines that required certain emotions, and her voice reminded me so much of the girl from One Of Us Is Lying that I was surprised she didn't narrate it.

idk, i saw everything that happened in this book coming from a mile away, it was entertaining but wasn’t a on the edge of my seat type of read

Fast paced, easy read with a decent amount of suspense. The characters weren't super dimensional, but they weren't totally flat and stereotypical either.

Mostly I was glad to have something suspenseful that wasn't poorly written to take my mind off the world.

A mystery about the fall of 17 year old Olivia told from her perspective before the fall and her mother's perspective after, this book is more than a mystery. As a mother, this book made me cry. It made me reflect on my own daughter and the unbreakable love I have for her. I cared so deeply about these characters and this beautifully written story both broke my heart and filled it with hope. I will definitely be recommending this book to people. I think it will appeal to wide range of readers.

Reminder: Don't keep secrets; don't lie.

4.5 ⭐️ a solid suspense novel woven together with a mother/daughter relationship story. I was trying to figure out the mystery the entire time - and wishing it would end differently, but knowing it couldn’t. Loved it.

What do you do when you know something and nobody will listen? When you need answers and nobody will provide them? When you can't trust anybody to help you?

Hey guys! So, full disclosure, I'm writing this review almost ten plus days after finishing this novel because I was an emotional wreck afterwards. I cried for almost a full twenty minutes, it was such a heartwarming, sad, and emotional ending to a really incredible journey.

The Night Olivia Fell is written very differently than any other thriller I think I've ever read. I've come to notice that thrillers or mysteries are heavily carried upon narration and description, but this one was propelled almost entirely by dialogue. It was fast paced and a much quicker read than other thrillers I've read in the past, and I really enjoyed that about it. It wasn't hard to follow at all, I never got lost or confused, and I found myself flipping pages quickly and long into the night.

It flips back and forth between present day, Abi's point of view, and past, Olivia's point of view. I enjoyed both POV's equally and loved watching the story unfold through both mother and daughter. It was heartbreaking as hell though because the whole time you're racing to find out answers and find out what happens you know Olivia isn't going to make it to the end of the book. You're reading all her parts of the story and you're getting to know her and like her but the whole time you're so sad about it because you know what happens to her, it's part of what makes this book so absolutely heartbreaking.

This reminded me so much of those old school Lifetime movies I would watch with my mom on the weekends where a woman's child would be in danger and she would do whatever she had to do to save them. Although this book wrecked me emotionally I did really enjoy reading it; I thought it was incredibly well written, well plotted, had realistic characters, and had all the twists and turns and shock factors I was looking for in a thriller.

This novel was an absolute fantastic debut and I can't wait to see what else the author comes up with! If you're into thrillers, or even new to the genre, I highly suggest you check it out!
