I received this book as an ARC from the author and am so grateful to have read it. I found it both heartbreaking and heartwarming. The mother’s unconditional love and overwhelming urge to protect her child is evident in this book. It kept you guessing all along what really happened to Olivia. I would absolutely recommend this book to friends.

Didn’t finish. Horribly cliche and entire plot was as predictable as you could imagine. If there is any twist I missed out on, it would have had to have been too contrived to be interesting.

Really enjoyed this book

The author had me changing my mind often on who did it. I look forward to reading her next book.

This story felt a lot like a domestic thriller in that the central relationships and conflicts were between intimate relationships - romantic, familial, friends. The last couple chapters were so moving. I didn't expect such an emotional experience from a thriller.

This didn't have a typical thriller feel... I suppose it's more a mystery? Either way, I enjoyed the storyline & the characters more than the whodunit aspect.

I got this as an ARC and am so happy I did! It was an awesome story! The characters were believable, and ones you fell in love with! I loved how the timeline went from the Mother’s present to the daughter’s past! I cried like a baby at the ending, even though you knew how the ending would play out! I guess I was hoping for a miracle! Such a great book and definitely an author to keep abreast of! Christina McDonald #gallerybooks #simonandschuster.com [email protected]

DNF @ 3% due to the writing and specifically how the Olivia chapters dialogue was written

I found this book took a really long time to get going. The first half fell flat for me. The tension was lacking.
The second half was better. I didn't like the story line around Anthony; that wrapped up a little too predictably too.
