I really loved that Raina added in some of Dawn's and Mallory's story into this graphic novel since they may not get to have one of their own. I also especially loved the dog washing scene because it reminded me of family circus- so much fun! I also liked the afterword where it explained how the BSC GNs became what they are. So interesting.

Gotta love the BSC!
Everyone loves the Baby Sitters Club and these graphic novel versions are super cute! I love sharing them with my 4th graders as well as reading them myself!

I honestly love these and have since second grade idk what else to say. The graphic novels make them fun in a different, fresh way (although I'm still nostalgic for the old format).

This was a great interpretation of the beloved series by Ann M. Martin. She understands the sister dynamic well. These girls are opposites and have to learn to understand each other better. When Mimi has health problems, it gives them an opportunity to do that. Also, Kristy and Dawn need to find a way to become friends - which is a challenge, because Kristy is a little jealous of Dawn and Mary Anne’s friendship. In the edition that I read, it had an explanation of how graphic novels are made. I have always wondered where authors start, and it did a great job of breaking the process down. The one thing that I didn’t understand was why the book said that inking was Raina Telgemeier’s favorite part of making the book when my book wasn’t in color. (I think inking would be my favorite part, too.)

This is a great book from the series! It mainly focuses on the rivalry of Claudia and Janine, about their problems and diversity. Highly reccomend.
