The second book in this trilogy let me down some, but this, the third in the Millennium trilogy, greatly made up for it.

It was a little slow at the beginning, but once the finer details of the intrigue started to be revealed, it was a page turner.

It had a satisfactory ending that was not abrupt like some novels can have (do their authors just get tired of writing or are they dealing with deadlines??). All but one detail was resolved, and even that was just a small one that is really just a blip in the world of these characters.

I'm sorry that this is the last Millennium novel available by Larsson. I've heard there's another in the series that his long-time partner refuses to acknowledge or publish, so I'll just have to be satisfied with these three novels.

The only complaint I have, and one that is entirely on my head, is that there are so many characters in this book with foreign names that I sometimes got them confused with one another. Even between successive days of reading. Maybe there should have been a cast of characters at the beginning, or maybe I should have taken notes.

Regardless, I enjoyed this novel immensely. I'd recommend it to anyone (is there anyone left?) who hasn't read it.

I loved all three of these books. They were intense, but wonderful. The beginning was a bit sluggish, as I had to try and keep track of all the characters, but after this I couldn't read it fast enough

Finally finished with Lisbeth's story. If there is one thing this series has taught me, it's to not judge a book on how long it takes to become interesting.

great

This trilogy was very okay. I really liked parts and really did not like parts.

The characters are all fairly awful. Mikael's sister is the most redeeming character. I disliked the fact that this story was written by a man, I do not feel like it was empowering- it was a story about a woman who was taken advantage of in many ways being saved by a group of men. I also just really hated Blomkvist. He was an arrogant man who for some reason every girl in the books seemed to fall for. Also, how many times can the author explain Berger's husband is okay with her having sex with Mikael. It felt irrelevant to the plot and repeated multiple times in each book.

The books were interesting enough for me to keep reading though, I felt invested enough to read through the end.

I think the third book was my least favorite- it just felt filled with details that did not matter to the story and too predictable.

I don't know, I feel like I don't have a lot to say about the trilogy other than it is okay.

Diminishing returns (cont’d)

I so wish the two others he has written get published. Sad to have the series end. Dying to know what adventure Slander goes on next!

Ostatni tom 4,5/5 ale cała trylogia zdecydowanie 5/5 gwiazdek, genialna
