Family ties derves 3 -3.5 Stars.
I liked this book more than the first one. What I really find different is that in most books now people don't smoke and in this series they smoke a lot.
Brady "Mr. Womanizer" Marshall has a night off and is in the Pink Banana while having a couple of drinks one of the waitresses finds a dead body out in the alley while taking out the trash.
Brady calls the police and then goes back to his night off and meets Gina Morris. Gina doesn't date cops but seems to make an acception for Brady. There chemistry hits the roof.
In the meantime Brady is working on a case with stolen goods in the warehouse district which also turns into a homicide/drugs case. Gina wasn't exactly honest with him and left out the fact that she has family ties with one of warehouses that are being cased.
We get to see a bit of Crystal/Jack and what is new with them. There was more action in this book and it was a quick read and I loved the ending.
