Us Against You explores the aftermath of the events in Beartown, giving us more of the characters we have come to love/hate. A fantastic sequel, and I was so glad we got more Benji focus this time around. Excited to continue with the series and see where Backman takes the rest of the story.

You have books that make you feel how lucky you are to have savored them.

Backman's book does the same for me (excluding a couple of them).

I want to write a lot but won't because I will not be able to do justice to it

In the end, very touching. The hyperbole really just doesn’t work for me, which is a shame. The character development in this series is so excellent but the writing style isn’t really my cup of tea.
I was so touched by the story of Bobo and his mother passing away. He was such an unexpected and sweet character.

Really liked the story and the characters (although I still don't like hockey), but I really was distracted by the choppiness of the stories broken up by little sayings, some of which were linear and some non-linear. For example, it took me a couple of times to actually figure out what happened during the main climax of the book. Reading this to prepare for The Winners, the latest release.

This book!! I love everything about it. Words will never be enough to describe how beautiful each and everyone’s story is.
