I definitely enjoyed this book, though the pacing was very slow and that's usually not really my thing. The characters all had incredible depth, and were decidedly very human. The religious and philosophical exploration and conflict tied in with the theme of finding happiness make for a compelling read. It's not for everyone, but I certainly like it.
