This book was good! Not bad not great. Theres wasn't a lot of lead up and most of the story was just family drama but it was enjoyable! I liked it!

Big white lotus vibes from this one! I loved how the family dynamics developed over time into a crescendo of insanity.
The descriptions of the hauntings/ghosts felt very physical and made the whole book very chilling.
I dont know if we are supposed to, but I really liked Anna. I found myself relating to her a lot, especially in regards to that particular group of people.
Only downside for me was, after the holiday in Tuscanny, I felt the pace of the book slow down drastically. While still invested and very much intrigued in what will happen, I think it lost some of the charm and pull that the villa/family dynamics had.
